If you have been following me for awhile you know that my favorite non profit is Falling Whistles. I love the work that they do!
Falling Whistles is an organization working to raise awareness of the war in Congo (our world’s deadliest war with over 6 million casualties in the past 20 years) and ultimately campaign for peace and freedom in Congo. Through supporting entrepreneurial programs for victims of domestic violence, rehabilitation of former child soldiers, working to ensure a free and fair election this November, and raising awareness in the US, there is very real hope in changing the face of Congo!
Falling Whistles will be having an event in Nashville, TN on November 2nd from 6:30pm-10pm at 1410 Holly Street Nashville, TN 37206. Come on out and enjoy drinks, acoustic sets from your favorite bands and get some knowledge!
